The Language of the Blocks

Through the use of colored blocks, children come to experience and understand number relationships. They’ll also learn the vocabulary necessary to following directions and explaining the position of one object in relation to another.

To present this series of 21 lessons you will need a set of 100 one-inch cubical counting blocks, such as those offered by Creative Minds. You will also need blocks from other sets that are of the same size but different colors and the same color but different sizes. One lesson requires alphabet blocks.
