Each page provides the opportunity to read, apply Carden controls to solve words, mental imagery, and written instructions for creating an illustration with crayons or colored pencils. The exercises are fun to do. Children self-correct their work with teacher guidance. The goal is to create self-reliant learners with the reading comprehension skills they need to grow independently.
